Ms. Bishop offers clients expertise on environmental finance, carbon finance and energy policy, drawing from two decades of experience in banking and development. 

As team leader for Finance in the World Bank's Carbon Finance business from 2000-08, she led transaction structuring, pricing and financial due diligence for a range of carbon finance transactions in clean tech, helped structure and market a succession of new carbon funds both for the World Bank and external clients, and established policies and systems for portfolio risk management and financial reporting for the World Bank's portfolio of 10 carbon funds totaling over US$2 billion.  She was one of the early team members of this group, whose Prototype Carbon Fund is credited with initiating the carbon market.  

Ms. Bishop has published extensively on carbon finance and pricing, and has organized and chaired international forums on carbon finance and risk management, including and sessions on financing clean tech investment at Carbon Expo and the Bonn Renewable Energy Conference.
