Elizabeth Garner
Research Analyst
Elizabeth Garner is a research analyst with Green Capital Advisors Ltd. She has specialized in African development issues, as well as financing mechanisms for development and trade. During a six-month internship at the African Development Bank (AfDB) Private Sector Department, she contributed to the launch of a new Cultural Heritage Initiative that promotes the use of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Africa as catalysts for cultural and eco-tourism. She performed research and analysis of existing studies of a specific site and prepared a draft terms of reference for a Master Plan. At Green Capital Advisors Ltd., she has researched current and post-2012 financing implications for the Kyoto Protocol's Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). Ms. Garner has a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Econometrics from Queen's University in Kingston. She is fluent in French and English.
